Municipal Clearances for Liquor Licence

Alcohol Permits are issued by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission. Some types of Permits require Muincipal notice and clearance, including: 
  
   * New Liquor Licence
  
   * Special Occasion Permits (Outdoor Events)
  
   * Special Occasion Permits (Community Events) 

   * Outdoor Extension of Liquor Licence (Special Occasion or New Patio)
   
Before a Municipal Clearance is given, the licensee must submit a Liquor Licence application to the Clerk's Office. The Clerk's Office circulates the application to various departments and agencies. All licensed events at municipal facilities must meet the Town Alcohol Risk Management Policy.
